The Glorious Karen Marie

The gorgeous Karen Marie.

We were students together at Millikin University and I was fascinated by her immediately. 

She was an old soul trapped in the body of a teenager. I knew instantly that she, as performer, would have an unusual time getting roles for most of her 20's. She was immensely talented. She was rambuncouts. She would jump FULLY into every role, every project, every opportunity that ever came her way. 

But, I knew she would shine once she got a little bit older and fully came into her adult self. And meeting her all these years later . . . boy does she shine.

I am immensely happy for her and everything she has accomplished, everything she has struggled to over come, and everything I know she is going to achieve in her amazing future.

Everything from performing in Sleep No More in NYC to her MANY performances as Billie Holliday across the country.

She is amazing.
